GREAT value. Recommend
This is NOT a heavy duty shredder. For a desk side, few sheets at a time shredder, it is great. If you have MOUNDS to shred, put it in a box, and take it to a neighborhood free shred day. This is NOT for that.
I have had many shredders over time, from the big executive shredders, to industrial ones, for a CPA office, and small little ones.
What is the game plan.... Prevent identity theft. That's it, really. If you are dealing with a family onslaught of credit card offers, and the normal mail, this will be a PERFECT fit. Don't try to employ this as an "office" shredding solution, it is not up to the task.
OK,
It is a crosscut, and does a reasonable job. I don't feed more than 3 sheets at a time, or perhaps here and there (not all the time) an unopened envelope that I know I am not interested in. It DOES bog down a little when that happens.
It DOES do credit cards, but length wise only, and only in the center (There are markers).
It does NOT do paper clips, and I would personally remove staples, for longevity reasons, although it says staples are OK, I would not feed a steady diet of stapled paper.
The price is right, and for this they get 5 stars from me. OVerall, best bang for the buck IF and ONLY IF, you don't try to push it, and use it for the convenient deskside item it is designed for.
It is quiet when not running, and does not consume much electricity, so I keep it on all the time, and ready to shred. It is a little noisy when shredding, so I don't attempt to shred when I am on the phone, or late at night when others are asleep. The top of it is fairly flat, and so I just lay the papers, which post the invisible message, "I am to be shredded".
The shipping from Rosewill was terrific. Arrived very fast.. I cant say HOW fast, but before you know it, it was here, and good shape. It contains the basket, and the motorized head, which sets on top.
It seems to fill up pretty quickly, so I have a plastic bag (large garbage bag) on tap, to empty the shavings into, because then they can be recycled, but not loose paper shavings in the recycle bin. Your municipality may vary, so it is good to find out what you can do.
A bit of a pain compared to those shredders with pull out drawers, is the lifting off, and setting down of the motorized head. The business end of the shredder gears and cutters is a BIT too much exposed for my taste, and although there are interlocks to prevent starting when not on top of the basket, I tend to err on the side of safety, and unplug the head from electricity prior to removing the head, setting it down somewhere, and then dumping the basket into the bag, then replacing the head, plugging back in, and picking up the inevitable shredding detritus that has fallen to the floor.
This above ritual, and having to do it so often, is the only downside to the ease of use. But, did I mention the price.
I have been using it now for a month or so, and have the feeling that this will last a good long time, if not abused.
You may wonder why I marked this "easy to empty", no, and "Shred quickly" no, and still give it 5 stars. Based on Price, bang for buck. If you can reduce your shred need for "here and there" shred the daily mail kind of thing and not, "Hmm this client needs the last 10 years of his records which have staples up the ying-yang and it needs to be done now, and we'll assign someone to feed this through the shredder non stop for 5 hours", then you will have a trusty low cost desk companion, otherwise, as I have seen in reviews of others for this product, your life may be a sort of hell.

Simple Cheap, direct. Dont need the turbo for most tasks,
The printer works well, small footprint, just "ready for action" I have owned dual, turbo and a host of others. These days, I will prefer multiples of the 450 if I have differing label types. Less hassle. The darn thing just works
