Blue flame
1 of 1 found this helpful Read a few reviews about people not getting a blue flame and only having a yellow flame resulting in black soot on pan bases. Getting a strong blue flame is a case of adjusting the air intake. Make sure the metal color is closed when you open the on/off valve to ignite the burner, then adjust the metal color to allow more air to draw in to the mix and the flame colour and strength will change.
