New Nes a winner
I'd never heard any of the songs on this album before this purchase, but I'm glad I bought it. Having listened to it twice in quick succession it is fast becoming a firm listening favourite. Buy it and try it.

Country music in a different vein
1 of 1 found this helpful I always liked the one with the woolly hat out the monkees, and when, years later, I found that he and Pete Tork were the only two real musicians in the group ( Micky (circus boy) played drums because he couldn't stand for long periods and Davy (Ena Sharples' nephew) was in front because he was considered prettiest ), I started looking at his music seriously. The I heard 'Nitty Gritty Dirt band' doing 'Propinquity' and it brought a lump to my throat. I had to own it ! This album contains both 'Propinquity' ( means 'proximity to - closeness' ), and Harry Nillsson's 'Rainmaker'. Those two alone make this a must have album for any country music fan. 'Tumbling tumbleweeds' is the icing on the cake. The rest of this double set is also superb listening for anyone with an ear for a good tune.
