Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W50
2 of 2 found this helpful We needed a new digital camera to take on our family holiday over Easter. Reasonable quality pictures, a compact camera and ease of use were required. A positive feature that other similar models do not have is that it has a view finder as well as the 2,5 inch LCD screen. Good for in the sun. It was sold with 2GB of memory and it is a Sony, so it appears to be quality well organised product with plenty of capacity. The pictures taken so far look very good but are fairly big files so sending by email is problomatic. Compression and therefore loss of quality has to be accepted, if this is to be carried out. The Cyber Shot software is good for viewing pictures but I have not yet found whether I can delete pictures from Cyber Shot and this may have to be done using Explorer.

Logitech VX NANO Mouse
I have just received a new laptop for work and needed a separate mouse as the one on the laptop is not good for evryday use. I was recommended the Logitech VX NANO by a colleague at work. It is small, compact and comes with a carrying case. The small transmitter/receiver fits in the mouse when not in use which means it is not lost and the arrangement is easy to take away from the office. The mouse installed easily and quickly and has a number of additional features that make moving around a little quicker and easier. I especially like the way the wheel can be knotched for accurate work or spin free for quick movement. I understand that the battery life is good but time will tell.
