Getting the candles to work after unpackaging.
0 of 1 found this helpful Initially they do not light up when batteries are inserted and the cap screwed up as far as it goes. This is caused in the manufacturing process of letting the wax flow too far to the base of the candle, covering the last mm of thread. Once the end of thread has been cleared of wax, with a sharp knife, the electrical circuit can be completed with the cap screwing in to its full extent, and performing as it should.
I've 14 of these candles over the last three years and nearly all of them have had the same initial problem.
