Sturdy, although rather bulky
This gadget works! It will fit a round tube or a square one, which is why I needed it, having a Hill Billy trolley. It is universal in that wherever you want it on your trolley you are able to achieve the holder being upright. It has a selection of 'fittings' for different sized tubes and, as I have said, one pair to fit a square tube. The fittings include a rubber 'shim' for inserting around your chosen tube before fitting the bracket to prevent slipping.
When taking the umbrella out of the holder, ensure you withdraw the hold screw enough so that there is a space between it's end and the brolly handle. The first time I removed my brolly, I pulled the plastic 'stop' off the screw end but luckily saw where it went. This a a slight design fault but I'm not sure how the manufacturer could overcome it. You'll see what I mean!
It is on the bulky side but that's my only 'con' comment. It definitely does the job for an 'add on' gadget. Thoroughly recommend!
