My original charger was hit by a lighten...

My original charger was hit by a lightening surge and this unit brought the WII Console back to normal operation. Most people would have bought a new unit. A lot of chargers have surge protection incorporated into the unit to protect the item they are charging. Check charger for voltage output before buying another console.
