AKG C214 Microphone Large Diaphragm Condenser Mic

AKG C214 Almost My Dream Mic (but very close)

for 30 years the AKG C414 has been my dream microphone but I can't afford it. I used one at the old CBS Studios in NYC many years ago and always wanted one. I have other microphones that are nice but much less expensive. (AKG, Rode NT1, Shure 84A etc.) I decided to go for an AKG C214 and I very happy with it. It is warm and smooth sounding at a fraction of the price of the AKG C414.

Great relacement.

I have a very old one that I beat up over the past 25+ years. This one is in very good condition.
