Classic camera all I need
1 of 1 found this helpful The D2X I used for years was a great camera but being DX always limiting for my pro work in architecture and heritage - as did the deteriorating quality above 800 ASA. Moving to the D3 was seamless. The D3 may be old but is not outdated - 12mp is good enough for anyone - and being FX solves the wide angle issues. As easy or as complex to use as you need and the high ISO quality is superb. Reliable pro tool, used in wind, rain and dusty attics - always in the bag and ready for use. Biggest bargain out there.
