Both Whirlpool PUR filters leak.
Both PUR filters leak. The filter I had in the refrigerator was a genuine Whirlpool filter, not one made by PUR for Whirlpool. When the two PUR filters leaked, I replaced my old filter, and the leak stopped. I measured the length of the PUR filter against that of the original Whirlpool filter. The PUR filter was 1/8 inch shorter than the original Whirlpool filter, possibly suggesting that the PUR filters do not sit in the water housing correctly, and thus causing them to lesk.

Excellent sound and reception.
Excellent sound and reception of all stations. Very user friendly operation. I had a GE clock radio that lasted 35 years. This one seems superior to my last. Maybe this one will outlive me!
