NEW 2TB Seagate ST2000LM007 2.5" SATA Hard Drive for laptop, PS4 HD
18 May, 2021
Decent replacement for a laptop with lots of storage, but slow
It's a typical spinning hard drive for laptops as far as speed goes. After rebuilding a gaming laptop with it, it felt slower than it should, but I'm used to using computers with SSD drives, though still, I've used computers since the 1980's with this "old" tech and it still felt slower than it should have. On the plus side, it doubled the storage for the laptop, but I'd recommend replacing regular hard drives with SSD's if you can afford them. They make a big usability improvement for any computer using spinning drives.

Behringer UMC1820 18x20 USB Audio Interface with MIDI PROAUDIOSTAR
27 Jun, 2020
Very good audio interface for the price
After a few weeks of using this to replace a Focusrite 26 Pro interface, I'm happier with the sound and recording quality from it. The input lines are less noisy than the Focusrite. The knobs have better, more consistent modulation where in the Focusrite, just a small turn of the level knobs could make too big a change. My only complaints with the Behringer so far are that it doesn't have level meters and the Windows driver control settings are very minimal. You can't change much in the configuration but I never had to for my purposes. The Focusrite driver software was far more advanced and customizable and allowed saving multiple setup scenarios. Other than these minor issues, I find the Behringer a good USB interface upgrade from the Focusrite firewire one, which limited its use to older computers.
