A romance with no Spanish passion!
Lucinda Riley is a wonderful writer, and I am sorry that she is gone, but this book does not live up to
expectations.
She writes about the Spanish Civil War in various chapters, but historically, she is not correct on many issues.
. It is obvious that the novel is about a very celebrated flamenco dancer but Riley twists names and events.
I don't think the author ever lived in Spain.
As a romance novel, the end is very predictable.
