Get this camera
The race for megapixels is over - most people don't use the full capacity of their cameras at the moment - and this beauty gives you all you'll need unless you're wanting to print posters. Compact, user friendly, and yet with all the options you could want in the menus, my only gripe would be the inability to autofocus older (non-AFS) lenses. Given my addiction to ebay and a good secondhand bargain it's a pain to me to have to buy such expensive glass.

Trangia 4.5 Litre Billy Can Cooking Pot with Lid

Leightweight dixie for larger quanities
The problem with the standard Trangia pans is that they are a bit small if you want to cook a good stew or curry for the whole group. The Trangia stove fits inside the pan, so the whole kit has all you need in one whole. Only downside is that it a wind the spirit burner isn't powerful enough to properly heat the contents.
