    I was a little worried about the couple breaking during transit, but shipment was fast, and the pair was wrapped so carefully there was no way anything had a chance to break. 12L Automatic Chicken Feeder Portable with Lock Treadle Trough Poultry Farm Tank

not worth it
This could have been a decent alternative to the grandpa's feeder, but it has to be rigged to get the food cover to close after the chicken steps off the treadle. The way the treadle operates to lift the lid was just set up in a weird way, and because there are 3 locations that have to smoothly operate, all with the screws having to be intentionally left loose which in itself causes issues, and if there is any catch at all, it prevents the lid from closing. also, it's a massive pain to put together. I would've been fine with putting it together if it had been perfectly functional, but its not. Save yourself the irritation and spend the extra for a grandpa's feeder. If it weren't such a pain to tear it down and return it, I would.
