Fantastic product!
Ok there are many Freddy Kruger masks out there, most shockingly bad, a few that are ok, less are actually good but there are the hyper realistic masks which are superb yet outrageously expensive. This is the first prosthetic mask I have seen that has been extremely good value!
Sure some people would consider £85.00 expensive but when you compare it to the hyper realistic masks which can go for £300-£500 this is a bargain you can’t pass up.
Fair enough, it doesn’t exactly look like Robert Englunds Freddy but there is absolutely zero mistaking it for anybody other than the man of your dreams 😉
After trying it on and getting a good few pics I did find it to be very snug, I know that things like that can bother some people but it doesn’t bother me, some of the lower quality masks out there are huge and just end up looking naff.
If I had to pick a downfall (and this is really just a nitpick) is that it’s latex which is much cheaper than silicone however it’s a lot more resilient in the sense that you won’t get a great deal of prosthetic movement. But again, there’s no way I could complain about this, it was listed as such and it was £85.00 and not £500!
The next part and shoulder also don’t quite reach mine but again it’s no major problem for me, if you want to resolve that I would suggest buying some body tape (tit tape basically) and you will be able to snug it down a lot better.
If this mask was say £50 dearer then maybe I would give it 4 stars but for the price, the level of detail and the great paint job I would say this mask is a 5* must have for horror fans.

Great mask for the price
4 of 6 found this helpful Ok I’ve seen a few negative reviews on this particular mask and in a way it’s easy to see why. The actual picture on many sellers listings look exactly like that from the 2018 movie. This mask isn’t that one! BUT if you look through the rest of the pictures it shows you exactly what you’re getting and for me I was quite happy with what I saw plus I read a few of the other reviews that posted pictures of the masks they received and decided that for £13.00 odd it was easily worth it. The latex mask does feel a little bit thin unlike a high quality latex mask I also received today but that’s the difference in paying £85 and £13 odd, it’s unfair to compare them on quality as you do get what you pay for. In any case this mask is more than adequate for my needs and my stepson who will be borrowing it soon thinks it looks great too 🙂
I’m not sure what the hair is made of but unlike some reviewers I personally haven’t had the problem of the hair coming out in clumps even after roughing it up a bit to see how it looked when a little more dishevelled. Now to be fair it’s not the greatest likeness to the film which is what I think a lot of buyers expect but there’s no mistaking who it’s supposed to be and doesn’t look as poor an imitation to deserve a bad review. I do however think that maybe the mask should have the proper picture on the listing that comes up in people’s searches rather than the obvious rip from the movie poster or whatever it was they used to cut and paste onto the listing.
As far as fitting goes it is a bit large but I don’t think it would look quite right if it was too snug, the listings on these masks do generally say that if it’s a bit big it should be padded out with a sponge or two, I think that’s probably the way to go if it is a bit too loose for your liking.
I would definitely reiterate that for the price it is a really good mask, if I were to have paid £50 for it then I would probably be complaining 🤣
Also like other reviewers mention, the smell of the latex is a bit strong but it’s not a smell that particularly bothers me personally and I think if you air the mask out a bit the odour will lessen over time.

A great looking display piece, But...
Ok firstly this is a great looking and mainly screen accurate Freddy glove from the first nightmare on elm street (1984). There are some fantastic details in this glove from the broken and re welded blade on the forefinger, the dents in the brass back plate and the shapes of the ringlets are all pretty much bang on compared to all the screen grabs I’ve seen! Now comes the But: when I tried it on it all fits well enough with the exception of the ring finger, the top ringlet is a little too far up the tip and the tip of my finger wouldn’t quite reach it and I’ve got pretty long bassplayer fingers. Second gripe would be that the joints are all incredibly stiff, I think maybe spraying with wd40 might help smooth it out a bit but to be honest I bought it more of a display piece for my NOES collection and I build and wear my own Freddy gloves anyway. Also because this comes with a hand display stand the wrist part of the glove isn’t sewed up and is held together with a safety pin as you can probably see from the pics on the various listings on eBay. It’s like this so you can get it on and off the hand shaped display, not a great feature if you were planning on actually wearing this glove for parties but if you’re just looking to display like me it’s not a major issue. I give this 4 stars instead of 5 just on the fact you can’t just pick it up and wear it, if you could both wear and display straight out of the box I’d have another star for it 🤟🤟🤟🤟
