Small and Accurate

This is a neat little unit and great value for money. I particularly like the Tare button which zeros the scale after you put a container on it, so you can measure a weight of loose powder, or in my case, dry cat food, without having to do any maths.

A good alternative

This is a good alternative to the original remote control. It has nice buttons which are easy to press, and a red LED which flashes to indicate when a button has been pressed correctly. This is a universal infra-red remote control which can learn to control three different devices. It has buttons labelled TV, SAT and DVD. I made the mistake of pressing the TV button and it stopped working! After a few choice words and head scratching, I tried pressing the other buttons and the SAT button made it work again. Obviously mine was programmed for TV under the SAT setting. Perhaps because it is part of a cheap partially faulty batch and the TV button doesn't work? Who knows, but a small sheet of paper with some instructions would have been nice. I also can't find any info about how to teach it to control my set top box too, but it was still good value.
