Honestly, my primary reason for buying milwaukee tools is that I have already invested in the m18 batteries. But with that said, this driver is pretty solid. Bought it mostly for detailing vehicles, but sure it'll work for whatever. Seems to be built solid.

This device will be recognized by newer linux kernals out of the box, just plug and play. My only regret with this device is that there is no way to truly bypass the preamps (so using a mic-preamp is sorta out of the question). Its a really good interface, especially for the price. Depending on how professional or production-flexible you want to get with recording audio, you might want to do more research to decide if this is right for you and for how long.

solid for a 10 year old model. wanted so...
solid for a 10 year old model. wanted something small for a NAS didn't need wifi, wanted sata, wanted m.2 support (the key goes under the mobo!). pretty happy.
