Better than Fates for sure
I’ve only played three fire emblem games which are Fates, Echoes and Awakening. It wasn’t as good as Echoes however it is much better than Fates because frankly Fates wasn’t even that good. Personally I feel a lot more of a connection with the characters and their personalities and I focus a lot more on them individually and make sure they turn out the best they possibly can. In my opinion it is worth it and I would recommend it to anyone who likes RPG strategy games.
