Really is balanced!
not too fancy but still elegant. Not too heavy on the handles so they don't fall off your plate. Good length on the forks. Good distinction between soup spoon and tea spoon. So far they wash great in the dishwasher.

Whole series is poetic
Great series. My 11 year old son read the first three books in two months. He would stay up late at night reading I bed, reading in the car, reading while at the dinner table! Paolini's writing style is poetic and full of imagery.
