it works but...

the computer doesn't count well, many full steps aren't recorded.
off-gassing of chemical smell is horribly strong.
the english manual wasn't written by an english speaker & has no info about actually using the thing, e.g. can you make it easier/harder? (seller would you answer this please?)
i have no idea what this white crust is on the bottom of the feet (photos). it's not from the packing foam. (seller?)
it feels sturdy. it was easy to bring to work but it's a little awkward to carry any distance frequently. would be fine to move out from, say, under a table & back for every use.
i was hoping to use it while sitting, but it's tall enough for my knees to hit the desk. without my full weight standing on it, it's really hard to push the pedals down. sitting isn't the intended use anyway. i'll just stand on it.
yes i can work up a sweat. all in all it seems to work.
the low rating is for the stink, the mystery crust, the computer & manual.

does the job
off-on switch is inside. i use it for my computer. i have to keep it upside down so i can turn it on when i want to because of the location of the switch. being upside down dampens the sound a little bit. plus there's a little piece of fabric covering the switch - don't know why. it's easy to move out of the way but just seems pointless. works fine & sound is fine for the price.

functional, sturdy, good-looking
1 of 1 found this helpful sturdy build. looks & functions as expected. nice finish. i saw others whose legs could be made shorter or longer individually, but this one changes length in pairs. i guess that's ok but if i was to improve one thing, this would be it. i like the drawer. the ridge on which your computer sits could be longer & should somehow stay in the pre-drilled gully a little better, but it still works fine. they really should make the cupholder deeper. appearance is professional. good value.
