Bad vacuum, had to pay to have repaired
4 of 4 found this helpful This Kirby was reportedly “tested.” That was very far from the truth: had to pay $100 from the Kirby repair shop, engine brushes were bad as was the cord. The vacuum wouldn’t start. Once repaired it runs well. I would advise those buying a used Kirby get one from a dealer, repair expert or have video proof that the unit works. Once obtained take it to a Kirby shop—a few dollars to clean it up well worth it. In the end the sellar refunded the cost of the repair.
