replacment for ealier "Castle Class Locos"
As a replacement body for earlier Hornby Castles, superb detail.

"Detail is supurb"
The detail as said is "superb" on all thirteen figures on each sprue.
Easy to paint while left on sprue with little flash that is easily filed or sanded away.
Good value, "no", the three sprues in each pack contain a repeat of each other.
e.g. You have three of the same figures in each pack.

"Smooth runner"
The 31-900 model is a step up from their Mainline predecessor. A little down on the detail side but makes up for it in sensitive pickups. Maintained a great little loco.
