BEST FOR SOUNDCARDS!!!!!!
I'm a Hearing Impaired person using a SoundBlaster Recon 3D soundcard ,..As I enjoy many FPS based games with DIRECTIONAL sounds ( location ) I usually find that USB based headsets bypass the soundcard altogether, Using a simulated output , THESE headsets uses 3.5 connectors for front center and rear providing FULL 5.1 from the soundcard , allowing these dysfunctional Ears to still play and track movement sounds from their respective locations/Directions relatively well ,...the combination of True 5.1 and Equalizer settings from the Recon 3D makes these headsets the ABSOLUTE! best I've ever used!!
