Great story of hurt, healing, forgiveness, and restoration.
Victor Marx was terribly abused as a child. In his young adult years he was very successful in self defense and earned his black belt, also was a Marine. But because of the early abuse, he suffered from PTSD, which in turn hurt his marriage. However, he wisely got professional help, worked through the pain, and experienced healing. God helped him through the whole process and he eventually was able to forgive his stepfather for the abuse. A sober story, but a victorious one. I’ve watched it repeatedly.

Beautiful illustrations.
This book has beautiful pictures in it. I’m over 65, but the pictures captivated me as a child. I just ordered it for my daughter and grandchildren. I don’t remember the stories that well, I was mostly intrigued by the illustrations.
