Love the lens.
It’s a wonderful lens. A cut above what I’m used to but glad I spent the money. A bit on the heavy side but I don’t mind that. Images are sharp. At f4 and with VR , shutter speeds are decent. Recommend highly.

Excellent camera but not for everyone.
It takes super sharp images, but you need some photographic knowledge to get the best out of it. It came with “Mastering the Fuji X100 by Michael Diechtierow” and the book has helped me get the best out of the camera. Controls and menus are easy enough once used a few times. It’s a solid beast, and I really like the feel to it and the retro looks. A joy to use. One minor niggle- original Fuji lens cap on mine was not secure enough. Common problem I believe, and it pi**ed me off no end. Bought a lens adaptor ring and clip on cap for about £15.00, and problem solved. I thought for sometime before buying one, and I’m so glad I did.

Excellent camera with controls to hand
2 of 2 found this helpful A pleasure to use, with main controls to hand, and many function buttons, some of which can be customised. The quick menu is very handy and easy to set to your own preference. Not much need to delve into the main menu. Unusual for a small camera. I think the build quality is very good and it handles well. Image quality and low light performance is in my opinion excellent. It ‘s not my main camera, but I will use it with confidence as and when.
