It's brighter than the original.

Before I purchased this screen, I tried every YouTube remedy. Clamp the screen connectors etc. Eventually I bit the bullet and purchased this screen. It works perfectly. It's brighter than the original. I would suggest an electric screwdriver (there are almost 100 screws to remove to get the base and top separated) and you'll need a soldering iron. Suggestion: color-code the two power connectors and cables before you unfolded then from the old board. The screen has been running for a couple of weeks and I'm very happy. :)

Accurate and reliable

I'm an enthusiastic cook, and I make recipes that require accurate temperatures. Hollandaise, caramel nut toffee, whatever. It's really good for new recipes that are temperature-sensitive. The timing with the particular pots and cooking utensils makes it easy to get recipes right and repeat for perfect results every time. This thermometer is accurate to 1°F, in my experience.

The US has been at war with China for years. Edward Snowden told us the extent of US data theft from China, and now that China is catching up and returning the favors, I wanted to find out more about China and it's history. I didn't expect such a pleasant educational experience. I'd recommend this as a starter history series for everybody.
