Different material
It would appear that the Farberware Classic Series of cookware has lessened its quality of material used. It is very lightweight as compared to the original set I had--and although it is a 2 quart saucepan, the pan is deeper and narrower than the original--which is not problem unless you are attempting to match an original lid to the pan. I would probably NOT buy another piece to replace part of my original set---better off buying an entirely new set and not Farberware.
