The kind of story Walt Disney would have liked to film!
If you've never seen or heard of this picture you're in for treat. Obviously, it was filmed on a B budget, but this isn't about special effects. This is a film with a wholesome story and a heartwarming message. Child star Bridgette Anderson is genuinely captivating and the loving interaction with her, "kidnappers" is real.
This is the type of film that afterwards I think to myself: Why don't they make good films like this anymore? No swears, no smut, no trashy music, and no subversive political message. It's a nice picture and when it's over you won't be afraid to let your kids see the tear in your eye.
