A smart upgrade for any transporter..

I bought these for my transporter without reading the full description, as the last part of the description states there are no electronics for the restraint system.. Doh.. So not to be beaten I fitted them in the b post, which is fairly straightforward, the only problem is the new seatbelt housing does not have a captured mounting nut in the bottom, however this is easily sorted with the fitting kit that comes with the belts. So now I have an air bag light on, I phoned a mate who is a bit of an electronic whizz and he gave me 2 resistors, which I fitted across the seatbelt wiring connections in the b posts on both sides, then a quick reset and bingo, the airbag light is working as it should. I'm more than happy with the conversion. The belts seem of good quality they retract quickly and lock when they should. Plus, the big bonus is they are red, which suit my red van nicely. Definitely a good job, especially considering second hand transporter belts cost a fortune, this is a good cheap fix, highly recommended. Thanks...
