Generation Kill is extremely realistic and the writers have worked with real soldiers to present one of the best war productions you will ever see.
This incredible series went largely unnoticed as it was on late at night on a small cable channel and was shown in standard format. Seeing it again in bluray on a large screen tv takes it to another level. I'm watching it again as there is such a lot of detail plus a good deal of special features.
