The bearings feel like quality items.
The brief, but still detailed enough instructional video was perfectly adequate.
I used an angle grinder intead of a bench grinder, but it worked perfectly well.
Now my windscreen wiper is back working perfectly and it looks exactly the same as it did.

Works well, but not flawlessly.
1 of 1 found this helpful I use this USB-C to DisplayPort adapter with my new MacBook Pro (Late 2016).
It drives my 2560x1440 display at 60Hz with no problems at all.
I also plug my MacBook Power Supply into it, so that my MacBook charges using this adapter. This works fine, IF I plug the adapter into the MacBook AND THEN connect the Power Supply. If I already have the power supply connected to the adapter before plugging the adapter into the MacBook, then the Mac will not charge. I need to remove and re-attach the charge cable.
The adapter appears to be very well made and the connections are firm and secure.

Small and lightweight USB-C charger.
It's really light and fits in the palm of my hand (with its cable wrapped around itself and held in place with an elastic band).
I use this as a travel charger for my MacBook Pro (late 2016).
Because it 'only' outputs 15W (rather than the 61W of the MacBook Pro charger) it doesn't really charge the MacBook while you are using it - it does stop the battery depleting - but as soon as you shut the lid the MacBook charges just fine. I have used it once or twice a week for a month now and love its portability.
I appreciate that I'm not using the charger for what it was designed and yet it works just fine.
(I also get a small kick out of plugging a Microsoft branded charger into an Apple device. Little things please little minds!)
