Fine as a cold chopping board...
As a cold surface chopping board ok, it's fine. However it is not to be confused with anything made of Pyrex or toughened glass, that I found to my detriment. One hot saucepan for just a second or two to get a better grip of the pan and 'bang' the board shattered and covered my work surface and kitchen floor with lethal tiny shards of glass. Entirely my own fault though and should have bought something far more durable..

Reliable set with a few bothers that are easily fixed.
0 of 1 found this helpful Good reliable set with a few problems with focus and east-west bothers but easily fixed. Everyone is getting rid of CRT for LCD which is great I think as CRT is much better and prices have hit the deck as a result. Worth a punt with this set. Rock on! Rob.

Well pleased with the Clip-jam. Better than the I-shuffle.
I rather like this unit. At first it seems just too quiet but when I realised that the manufacture has to set the max. volume low to meet uk regs and that you can bypass the uk regs and pump the volume up (details available on web but not from Sandisk), it really came into it's own. The menus are intuitive and easy to use. Dead easy to drag and drop music files from a PC. I would say the battery lasts between 6-8 hours which isn't bad given that every manufacture overestimates battery life. The earphones/buds supplied with the unit are the usual worse than useless but I prefer a proper pair personal stereo type headphones anyway. I teamed this unit with the Philips SHS5300 (£16.00/pair via Amazon) and they are rear-head mounting phones with bands that go over your ears to excellent for on the move and they don't budge at all... So overall, forgetting the rubbish earbuds, I've been well pleased with this unit. As compared to the I-shuffle or whatever it's called, this thing is much better and you don't have to mess about with special headphone plugs like you do with the I-shuffle...
