A nice heavy paper - just not for painting with watercolors.
I was hoping for "true" watercolor paper. This is nice and heavy, but has a noticeable horizontal grain. Also it doesn't absorb water like real watercolor paper. It doesn't work with washes.
I think it would probably be great for acrylics - just not for watercolor. It didn't work for my purpose, but I'm glad I tried it.

A professional quality dryer - worth every penny!
This is a salon-quality dryer and Ii love it. I bought my original CHI Pro from my hair-stylist several years ago. I wanted whatever she recommended that would dry my thick hair quickly but without damaging it. The CHI Pro is what she sold me. In addition to being a great dryer, it is QUIET. (Some dryers make me want to stuff cotton in my ears to protect them from the noise. Not so with this one.)
This is a full-size dryer - not intended for travel. It is light-weight, well balanced and perfect for everyday use.
It is expensive compared to drugstore dryers but it is professional quality You get what you pay for. When my original Chi Pro wore out, I was thrilled to find I could get another!
