initial patience will be rewarded...
initial patience with this product will be rewarded. Once inflated, we set this up as a topper, so set up soft, on our 3 inch foam bed in our campervan (which is quite firm), and it worked really well. Yes its expensive, but for us made the difference between a very good and poor nights sleep, hence why I would recommend.
Why "initial patience"? well it took the mat sometime to get into its proper shape, and wake up from its tighly packed shipped environment, it needs about 24hours, and some manipulation, (just close valves and roll about on it, you will hear it gently popping and cracking as it take its true shape).
I have also used it as a temporary bed for kids sleep over, and had no complaints.
It also reduced down, to a small pack, which is ideal for tight camper van storage...
My only gripe was the initial price, but I choose vango, as i believe their products are quality, so if it keeps going for 5 years, then its good value, and as i say, has transformed sleeping in our camper van so overall really pleased.
