A fine epic read, packed with drama and humour.
Enter a world which comes vibrantly alive: characters real, funny, and tragic. I'm only a little way in: it's a big book to get through but worth the commitment. I didn't know his writing but it does have resonance with other American writers, both earlier and later. A fine read.

A top quality product
I looked for these for years - I used to pinch the odd one from restaurants! Imagine my joy to find them available in bulk! Cleaning the teeth this way is good hygiene - I use them after and between meals.

Magic, food for imagination, in a beautiful publication.
I don't usually do reviews but I want to say that this publisher is the best I know - the paper is lovely, pure white, and the printing is large enough to read easily. Not only that, the books handle beautifully and are a real pleasure to pick up. I now have 2 books by this publisher and I wishh all my books were available from them. As regards the book itself, my childhood's magic was due in large part to John Masefield's Box of Delights and The Midnight Folk - I bought this book because I want to recapture this magic and the birth of a granddaughter has been a good excuse! Simply an excellent book and highly recommended.
