Great book

Having taken up watercolour painting in the last few months, I've bought a few books on the subject. This is probably the best so far. The first 30 or so pages go into the techniques used, the brushes, paints, and everything else you need to know to get started. It assumes no prior knowledge of the subject, and takes you through things a step at a time. Plenty of projects to work on, and encourages the reader to try their owb styles. I know I'll be going to this book as a reference for many years to come.

Easy to follow

Bought this book having just taken up wateecolour painting. Although it arrived with none of the tracing pictures included, I prefered this as it meant I had to draw the pics myself. The projects are easy to follow, with pictures along the way. It encourages you to find your own way of doing things on the paper. Ive completed 4 of the 6 projects in the book now, and each one is getting better and better. I'd highly recommend this book as a great way to learn more techniques and to give you ideas for future projects.
