From Under the Cork Tree Black Clouds and Underdogs
For me as a lover of Fall Out Boy it is obvious that i love From Under the Cork Tree. This album showecases the massive steps taken from the days of the Split EP with Projekt Rocket, and how the band has evolved musically and stylistically. It has much of the energy and vigour of Take This to your Grave as well as the brilliant lyrics of Evening out with your Girlfriend. In my opinion, Infinity on High just doesnt quite capture what Fall Out Boy are, for that you have to look to FUTCT and the older albums.
The thing which separates this version from the original is the bonus tracks, and they make this a VERY worthwhile purchase. Snitches and Talkers Get Stitches and Walkers is one of the most energetic and powerful songs ever made by FOB and has a great harsh sounds. Music or the Misery and My Heart Is the Worst Kind of Weapon are also great tracks that are hard to find in good quality sound. The last great thing about the special edition is the album sleeve with lyrics for all the songs. It is brilliantly presented and well put together, just like the album.
