You Wanted the Best, You got the Best.
The pivotal album in my love of rock music. Having bought Crazy Nights as a teenager, I jumped at the chance to buy this when I saw it in a dusty record shop 20 years ago. Since then I have always wanted the CD and so had to get it when it came up on E-Bay. This classic smashes you in the face from the start. Detroit Rock City is the perfect song to start any live concert. Shout It Out Loud ends it perfectly. In between are 13 other examples of why KISS have become the legends they are. God Of Thunder and Beth are so different that you can't believe they come from the same group. One is raw metal, the other a plinky piano ballad. There are also 5 bonus studio tracks. For any rock fans, there intrested in Live gigs. KISS are truly the masters. All 4 of their Alive shows belong in your collection. This was the first one I bought and still the best.

Activist, brilliance. Super comedy.
Mark Thomas for those of you who don't know is Britain's best activist comic. A man who raises issues regarding the stupidity of British Law. This DVD highlights the stupidity and legal loopholes of the SOCPA. Sit down and watch this DVD and realise just how daft this Country is. He has other DVD's and cd's out, plus books. His book, 'As used on the Famous Nelson Mandela', highlights the loopholes in the import and export of weapons. Mark is a very clever man. To see what he is about, go to his website www.markthomasinfo.com. Superb and highly recommended.

THE HOTTEST BAND IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!
In 1973, 4 New Yorkers started the most influential Rock band of all time. KISS have gone on to mega star status and broken sales and stadium sell out records all over the world.Once playing in front of 250,000 people in Rio De Janeiro. This album is the first of their 4 Alive albums and was recorded in 1975. It contains their most famous early tracks. All KISS concerts explode into life with a classic track and this one gets going with 'Deuce', then leads into 'Strutter', one of their most famous songs. The album is a masterpiece of the oldest KISS material, some of which has been forgotten as the years progressed. The 12 minute 100,000 years, shows them at their best and the finale of THE ROCK ANTHEM, 'Rock and Roll All Nite' and the less well known 'Let Me Go Rock And Roll'leave you wanting more. In total there are 16 powerful KISS songs. If you can, buy this and all the other KISS Alive albums for pieces of musical poetry. I have reviewed KISS Alive II elsewhere and can only say, that it is better than this, and this is perfection. ALIVE II was performed in 1977. ALIVE III was released in the 1990's and features classic KISS tracks from over 20 years. In 2003, KISS played a 30th Anniversary show in Melbourne at the Telstra Dome with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. KISS ALIVE IV, or KISS SYMPHONY is a unique and beautiful piece of work. I really think that these are 4 albums you must own. Many rock bands in the last 20 years, Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Rammstein for example have supported KISS and that has helped them on the road to stardom. KISS truly are the masters of Rock music. They are true legends and their music will live forever. KISS is more than music, as Paul Stanley says, "KISS is a family".
