Broken dyson DC27 and DC04 now working like new.
Our dyson DC27 was not picking up and the wife wanted a new vacuum cleaner.
we already had an old DC04 in the cupboard with the same issue.
The brush roller would spin fine when in the air but when engaged on carpet it would stop turning or spin really slowly.
I watched a you tube video on how to disassemble and repair the dyson clutch.
The original clutch belt from the clutch to motor was very loose in both vacuums causing the brush roller slippage. Now both vacuums are working like new with dyson branded belts. Many thanks you have saved me a fortune.
