It's a great reference book for music lovers.
Many books mention only the UK charts. I grew up in North America, so I like to see the statistics of both US and UK hits. It's a shame the charts don't go higher to 40, 75, or higher.

Jolson
There are some films you can watch more than once. The Jolson Sory and Jolson Sings Again are two films I have seen many times. The first time I saw them was 60 years ago. I used to sing the songs as I was walking to school. That's how good they are. Yes, I also loved the Beatles, the Stones, and the Beach Boys. If you don't listen to hits from before you were born, you're missing out on a cornucopia of entertainment; some of my children, like Al Jolson. He died 11 years before I was born and was one of the biggest stars for fifty years. Everyone loved him, black, white, yellow, and brown.
