An accurate model of a Gulf War tank
This is an inexpensive, accurate 1/72 scale model of an Iraqi T-55 tank that fought in the 1991 Persian Gulf War (Operation Desert Storm). It is a nice addition to my collection of 1/72 scale models of tanks and other military vehicles. It is plastic rather than diecast metal and is therefore fragile and should be treated as such (not a toy for children). However, it is durable as long as it is cared for properly.

A nice model of a US NAVY Brewster Buffalo
This is a 1/72 scale model of a US Navy Brewster F2A-2 Buffalo fighter that was assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Lexington shortly before the US entered World War II. It is NOT a model of one of the Brewsters that was exported to Finland and served in that nation's air force against the Soviet Union (note the obvious US markings on the wings and the Felix the Cat marking on the side.

Great movie
This is a movie about an Apollo spacecraft that has suffered a major malfunction in space and the efforts of NASA to save the crew. Ironically it was released only months before the REAL Apollo 13 crisis. I have wanted a copy of this film on DVD for years. It won an Academy Award for special effects!
