Great blade for advanced player starting with kiso hinoki
Great blade for learning how to play jpen at a high level. It's fast, but not too fast. I play it with DHS Hurricane 3 and the loops are the best I've ever made. Between the dwell time of the rubber and the dwell time of the wood, I can really pick up the ball and throw it where I want. Blocking and short pushes are great too. Before getting this, I made the mistake of buying a really advanced blade and it was too fast for me. If you've never used kiso hinoki before, this is the place to start.
For reference, my USATT rating is about 1200-1300.
