Shimano M520 SPD Clipless Mountain Bike Pedals with Cleats - Silver

Reliable, robust and easily adjusted SPuDs

Simple design, straight forward adjustment and almost bombproof. The mechanics of the springs and cleat retaining system is the same for the XT and XTR SPDs. These have a little more bulk, but in operation, they are identical. A great pedal. I've three sets of theses all fitted to bikes and a set of XTs. Can't fault them. This particular set came with cleats supplied. The cleats are hard-wearing and pretty easy to mount on to the appropriate shoes. Recommend.

Used A2Z Quick Release Wheel Skewers before. Sturdy enough if a little chuncky on the lever side. Easy to lock down. 102 grams for the pair. For MTB: 100mm OLND front and 135mm OLND rears.

System EX Quill to Ahead Stem Adapter

Very useful adapter for older bikes with a 1" threaded headset, allowing the fitting of a user friendly ahead handle bar stem.

This is the second adapter I've used. The first was to convert an old road bike to take a Ahead type stem. It's been a reliable and functional piece of kit. Does what it says on the tin. Great buy.
