Neewer Swiveling Grip Head Angle Arm Reflector Holder Stand Clamp

Bad design.

It is great product, just a pity that the holes in the revolving part art not actually the sizes that are advertised. All the photo world use 'baby' pins and other equipment. They need a 5/8" or 16mm receiver. The smallest that this device goes to is said to be 16mm, but is actually 20mm- which for many folk makes it all but useless!. Just needs a bit more thought in the design, and I would buy a boxful and tell all of my friends.

Valuable, versatile, every photographer should have a pair.

This is a clamp with many uses . For instance it can be attached to a stand via a grip head to hold many light modifiers and similar items. For this it is very solid and reassuring. Conversely it can be itself attached to items in the set and used to hold things like lights. In some way similar in its function to a super clamp , but considerably more useful and versatile. It is a knock off of the very well regarded Cardellini clamp - I hope that they pay royalties!

Appears to be high quality ; I have yet to use it in the studio. Fairly dense - I estimate that it will take out about one and a half stops.
