Rats aren't stupid!
0 of 1 found this helpful I thought I'd try an humane trap to get rid of a large rat that has moved into our house. Well the rat won! Quite simply they are intelligent and simply refuse to go in to get their food. I left it baited with peanut butter (crunchy) and not set for a full week (you need a cable tie to stop the trap going off, there is no clip) and the rat completely ignored it. The first night I set the trap for real I caught - a hedgehog! The hedgehog found it very homely and refused to leave until the morning. The next night it came back for more! Sorry rattus rattus it's poison now!
