A GREAT LITTLE INVENTION
The product is built strong and solid.
It fits through a 10mm bore hole though there is a little extra width and movement before tightening. When it is tight there is no movement.
The black ring has 2 shoulder mounts that fit on to the spindle to stop unscrewing from the underside and there is a ring that mounts to the circular saw leaving a gap between the ring and the blade, I presume this is to keep it cool or stop bending when clamping, it is not a fault, this means that you can not mount some size bore holes to the clamping rings shoulders with shims, though it is possible to mount some wider bore holes if you put double sided carpet tape on the rings or circular saw blade as I have before I bought this and it worked with 2 wide washers, this will stop it unscrewing and form a tight grip if you are thinking of mounting wider bore holes.
The silver coloured ring screws and clamps the mount though it might come loose with too much pressure so I will mod it with double sided carpet tape if it comes loose.
The blade I have mounted is a 70mm diameter diamond grinder,
The spindle fits straight in the drill, there is plenty room in the drill for it. Most drills will mount up to 13mm. 10mm fits easy.
No problems so far.

A GREAT LITTLE INVENTION
0 of 1 found this helpful This a a great tool for drilling vertical holes accurately and mounting the rotary tool upside down to a table if you build a mount for it, you could save cash and clamp it to the underside of a table and build an edge rail to bevel angles. Check out the videos online for tips.
There is only one problem with this product and the reason I give it 4 stars is that there is some play in the central slider that goes up and down though I do not expect it to be perfect at this price. It can be modified to solve the problem. I will come up with a solution and let you know how it goes.
The plastic it is moulded with is strong enough to hold with a firm grip when screwing the mount on though be careful.
The screw hole is the same size as my parkside rotary tool and I think most are the same width at 7mm wide. The screw hole is a tight fit so be careful not to screw in the rotary tool and strip the thread. When screwing in it does not click when turning anti clockwise like with most screw holes when trying to find the thread entry point. It seams fine though. It mounts on the plastic outer case of the multi tool and fits vertical.
It will come in handy and is essential for a multi tool.
