Polished Brass Egremont Traditional Sliding Escutcheon Key Hole Cover

Nice looking items and sturdily made but need some work to function properly.

The escutcheon arms are very stiff and hardly move and I had to oil and work on them. Even then they will not swing with any freedom so I have given 4 stars for having to spend time on them. They are well made items though and look very good fitted. I had to use size 4 screws as any larger ones impeded the movement. The holes are quite small and you may need to drill out to enlarge.

cheap product- cheaply made.

This is a good example of" you only get what you pay for". Mine arrived slightly squashed and had to be rectified. This was caused by unsuitable packaging and also a cheap product - even the lens rattles. It works OK but that's all I can say in its favour.
