A classic, top 100 movie of all time
A classic movie that is a time-piece (the automation of the American business), beautiful exposition of 1960's New York and a heart-warming story to boot, with a very strong cast, which comes together exceptionally well. Amazing value too!

Essential Bruce Cockburn at his best at 78!
1 of 1 found this helpful Some artists shine briefly and then fade away. Bruce Cockburn is close to 80 and his latest, O Sun O Moon, is as good as anything he has ever done. Biting but compassionate lyrics, a broad 'palate' of styles but a consistency and coherence that makes this a classic album. As a lyricist he's amongst the best, as a compassionate observer of the state of the world he has few peers and as a musician he is capable of moving from the irresistable singalong ('On a Roll') to the deeply moving ('Colin Went Down to the Water'), spiritual ('Orders', 'Push Comes to Shove') and environmental ('Keep the World We Know'). If you know and like Bruce Cockburn this is essential and if you are not in that camp why not check it out!

The third of the six stripped back acoustic 'American' series that are collectively a masterpiece
All six Johnny Cash albums of the 'American' Series, the last of his career, are very special. They are also extraordinarily good value and I picked up five for under £16. The musical selections are diverse but the stripped back acoustic interpretations, often very different to the original versions, are inspired. Given the broad selection of music there will always be something which is not necessarily to our individual tastes (for me that would be a couple of the gospel inspired songs written by Cash himself) but, as a whole, all six are priceless.
