Good quality spray bottle
This spray bottle works well. The pump is efficient and supports a wide range of uses, from gentle to strong sprays. The nozzle adjusts evenly between very wide and soft, and narrow and strong.
I didn't notice any leaks or drips.
The bottle is reasonably comfortable to hold.
The bottle we received had red and white parts, rather than blue or white.
Some household items can be disappointing or at least annoying - but this one seems to be perfectly good. The design is elegant in that it is functional and minimal without any addition of extraneous elements or aesthetic flourishes.
The narrow spray can travel three metres or so in a straight line before the drops slow and fall. Though its capacity per shot of 1ml is no-doubt smaller than that of specialised water pistols, super-soakers etc., this spray bottle would give one a chance of prevailing in such skirmishes.

High magnification with good quality, but LEDs too blue and not well oriented
This has a very high magnification, much more than any single-lens loupe or linen tester. The lenses are plastic (I assume polycarbonate) and are of a high quality, with a very clear image in the main part of the field, without significant chromatic aberration. The LED lighting is bright, but as with many white LEDs, rather too blue to be considered a proper white. They shine to the right of the image centre at the focal plane, and it seems to be difficult or impossible to change the way they point.
I improved the illumination by filing 45 degree flats, which are diffuse, on both LEDs on their near side, bringing more light to the central part of the image. I then coloured about half of the flats' area with an orange Sharpie pen and may colour in more still. I used a silver pen on the other side of the LEDs to reflect more light into the diffused area.
The battery compartment lid can be removed only with tweezers or pointy-nosed pliers, which is good in terms of child safety. (Coin cell batteries are potentially deadly if swallowed.) Ideally, perhaps, there would be a timer so that children could use them without the likelihood of flattening the batteries if they forget to turn it off, but that would be very tricky to implement, and would be a nuisance for adults.
Inexpensive optics are frequently disappointing, but this one is a beauty!

Robust and elegant
We don't have any other cello stands to compare this one with, but it is hard for us to imagine one that is more elegant, robust and easy to use.
The tripod opens out and the whole frame is strong enough for the task, without being overly heavy. The spring-loaded adjustment pin release at the back is very solid and the upper part of the column clicks into one of many positions.
The cello body rests on the foam-covered front legs and its scroll sits in a pair of smaller foam-covered arms, which are spring-loaded and close under the weight of the instrument, causing two other padded pieces to wrap around the neck of the cello, securing it further.
There's nothing overly fussy or extraneous. The colour choices, are black, black and black, all with a little slightly less than glossy lemon yellow. We like this - it has that stage-hand black top-to-bottom aesthetic, but the lemon touch steers it away from dull industrial or overly-cultivated all-blackness.
I guess the foam pieces are PVA. They are firm and non-tacky. Cheaper, softer, polyurethane foam would work for a while, but after a decade or two would crumble and eventually become a tacky mess. I expect this foam will become harder in the decades to come, but will still work perfectly well.
The products of good industrial design typically spend most of their lives doing their jobs quietly and reliably, not causing any distraction - and ideally being pleasant to view and handle. Our DS580B will do this, I am sure, but I wanted to give it a moment of public praise, for the interest of cello players and those interested in design.
