Awkward if you need to use more than one.

The wick needs to be at least twice a s long so that a) it protrudes from the container rim and b) so that it takes longer to ignite.I needed to use three, I couldn't light the fuse at all with a match and had to use a gas blowtorch!! Even then the first one started before I could light the third and evacuate. It was however 100% effective in dealing with a wasps' nest in a large loft volume.
